What is an Access Card? 

–

The Access Card is a proof of access requirements card, which can be used to discreetly communicate a person’s access requirements, without the need to go into private or sensitive conversations about their condition. The card breaks down each person’s access requirements into individual symbols. These symbols indicate to providers the different access requirements that each of their customers may have. The scheme also helps businesses to understand how they can accommodate for these requirements, where possible.

Created and developed in the UK by Social Enterprise Nimbus Disability, The Access Card has over thirty-thousand users and is recognised at over one-thousand venues and attractions nationwide and beyond.

What’s next?

The next step is to apply for your free Access Card using the Application Form on our website (the ‘Special Offer Code’ from your Gift Certificate must be entered into the ‘Special Offer Code’ field in the Application Form). 

The Application Form will then be processed* and posted out to you. 

* The Access Card Team aims to process/respond to all Access Card Applications within a 48 hour period.
